Cancellations
In the event of cancellation or curtailment by you:
- Within 7 days of booking, deposits are fully refundable.
- Between 7 days of booking and up to 28 days prior to the start of the stay, the deposit is refundable less 10% of the total cost.
- Within 28 days of the start of stay, the deposits are non-refundable.
We strongly recommend travel insurance against cancellation or curtailment.
In the event of cancellation or curtailment by us:
We, at Silverdale, are not expecting to need to cancel any bookings for any reason, but should such a situation arise at any time which is beyond our control, we offer two options:
- Guests may take a full refund of the amount paid, plus a complimentary equivalent stay at Silverdale at a mutually convenient time.
- Guests may have a stay of equivalent time and quality elsewhere, paid for by Silverdale. The client shall then have no further claim against us.
Guests pets are not allowed in Silverdale Guest House. Our family dog and cat share our accommodation, but not yours! All areas of Silverdale are cleaned thoroughly, but we cannot accept responsibility for any aggravation of allergies any guests may have to animal fur.
Nut and other food allergies. We do our best to cater for a variety of diets but because all food is cooked on the premises we cannot ensure that food is free from minute traces of nuts or other food allergens.
Liabilities
We, of course, have full public liability insurance but are not able to accept liability in the very unlikely event of damage to or theft of guest belongings or vehicles whilst on the premises.
Responsibilities of Guests
Instructions of what to do in the event of a fire are posted in all the rooms; it is the guests responsibility to read these and familiarise themselves with the layout of the exits. Silverdale is a non-smoking property and for the comfort of all guests this includes the grounds. Guests are asked to respect this. Rooms are available from 4.00 p.m. Departure by 10.00 a.m. please.
